Breast Cancer

What is Breast Cancer?
Breast cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the breast. It is one of the most common cancers worldwide, but early detection significantly improves survival rates.

Common Symptoms of Breast Cancer
🩷 A lump or thickening in the breast or underarm
🩷 Changes in breast size, shape, or skin texture
🩷 Nipple discharge (other than breast milk) or pain
🩷 Skin dimpling or redness on the breast

Breast Cancer Screening & Early Detection
Early detection saves lives! Regular screenings can detect breast cancer at an early, more treatable stage. Recommended methods include:
✔️ Mammograms – X-ray imaging to detect abnormalities
✔️ Breast Self-Exams – Checking for lumps or changes at home
✔️ Clinical Breast Exams – Performed by healthcare professionals
