At Tutti Cancer Warriors, we understand the power of shared experiences and compassionate connections. Our Peer Support Program is designed to match cancer warriors with survivors who have navigated similar journeys. This page outlines the important guidelines and expectations for both warriors and survivors involved in the program.
How It Works:
- Application Process
Whether you’re a Warrior (currently undergoing cancer treatment) or a Survivor (who has completed treatment), we welcome you to apply to participate in our Peer Support Program.- Warriors: Receive support from someone who has walked a similar path.
- Survivors: Offer your experience and strength to someone currently battling cancer
- We match Warriors with Survivors based on shared experiences and needs. To get started, please fill out the appropriate application form below:
- Communication Channels:
Once you’re matched, the communication will take place through:- Phone calls
- Video calls (Zoom or another platform)
- Online messaging (if applicable)
- Respectful and Safe Environment:
We ask that all participants approach conversations with respect, understanding, and kindness. Our program is based on empathy and the understanding that cancer journeys are deeply personal.
Guidelines for Participation:
For Survivors:
- Offer Support: Provide empathy, guidance, and emotional support to warriors based on your own experience.
- Confidentiality: Keep any information shared by the warrior strictly confidential.
- Boundaries: Respect the warrior’s boundaries and understand the limits of the support you can provide. Peer support is not a replacement for professional medical advice.
For Warriors:
- Respect: Be open and respectful towards your peer supporter, sharing your experience while listening to theirs.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of your peer supporter’s information.
- Seek Professional Help: If you need professional medical or mental health support, we encourage you to reach out to licensed professionals.
Code of Conduct:
- Be Respectful: We expect all participants to engage in conversations respectfully, keeping the tone supportive and understanding.
- Maintain Boundaries: It’s important that both parties respect personal boundaries and not push conversations beyond the realm of peer support.
- Keep It Confidential: Any personal information shared during peer support should remain confidential.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. All personal information shared during your participation in the Peer Support Program will be kept confidential, in line with our Privacy Policy. Personal contact details and any sensitive information will not be shared outside of the program without explicit consent.
What You Share:
- Warriors may share their cancer journey and how it affects their life.
- Survivors may share their recovery experience and how they managed challenges.
All interactions are handled with care to ensure the safety and comfort of both parties.

Eligibility:
- Warriors: Must be currently undergoing cancer treatment, in remission, or recovering from cancer.
- Survivors: Must be individuals who have completed cancer treatment and are in remission or recovery.
Termination of Participation:
You can voluntarily withdraw from the program at any time by notifying us. Similarly, if a participant does not adhere to the guidelines or violates the code of conduct, their participation may be terminated.
