Peer Support Program

Connect privately with someone whose lived cancer experience may help you feel understood and less alone.

Personalized Connection

We consider cancer type, treatment experience, language and the topics you hope to discuss when looking for a suitable connection.

Confidential and Safe

Profiles are reviewed before matching, both people consent to connect and safety tools remain available throughout the program.

Flexible

The first conversation is arranged privately on Google Meet at a time both people confirm.

Support built on lived experience

A peer supporter can listen, share personal perspective and talk about everyday realities such as treatment routines, recovery, family, work or fear of recurrence. They do not tell you what decision to make.

Not medical care or therapy

TCW Connect does not replace doctors, qualified mental-health professionals or emergency services. Medical symptoms, treatment decisions and urgent safety concerns must be taken to the appropriate professional service.

How It Works

1

Register

Create a private profile with the information needed for a relevant and safe connection.

2

Matching

TCW reviews profiles and looks for a compatible supporter based on experience, language and preferences.

3

Connect

Both people accept the connection before a private first conversation is arranged.
